We have been talking about a “Community of Unity”. It’s been such a great series so far. There will always be a battle against your unity with other believers but just remember this:
“For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” – Ephesians 6:12 NLT
Sometimes we can start to think the enemy is another believer or even a boss or family member, when they’re really not. The Devil and his forces are hard at work to turn people against each other in and outside of the church.
So what can we do as maturing believers? Pray and forgive. I’ve found the power that is in prayer and forgiveness is immeasurable.
“Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, you must forgive.” – Luke 17:4 NLT
So be encouraged today!!
“Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up.” – Proverbs 12:25 NLT
Many great things await as we continue in this season and on this topic of unity.
