Pastor Joshua begins a new sermon series on the importance of worshiping completely and without shame for the Lord.

2 Samuel 6:14-16 New Living Translation
14 And David danced before the Lord with all his might, wearing a priestly garment. 15 So David and all the people of Israel brought up the Ark of the Lord with shouts of joy and the blowing of rams’ horns. 16 But as the Ark of the Lord entered the City of David, Michal, the daughter of Saul, looked down from her window. When she saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord, she was filled with contempt for him.

Principle; David looked at grief and devastation through the lens of his relationship with God.

Principle: David looked at his successes and victories through the lens of his relationship with God.

Question: How can I process this through my relationship with God?

Psalm 34:1 New King James Version
1 I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Principle: Praise and gratitude to God, releases favor and blessing from God.

Principle: We should give the first part and the best part of our emotions to God. (Tithe)

Principle: We were designed to express a range of emotions.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 New Living Translation
1 For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.

Principle: David cared most about his relationship with God.

Question: What does it mean to dance with ALL your might?

Question: Whose approval is more important to me.

Principle: It takes courage to worship God without caring what other people think.

Principle: You get what you practice.

Principle: If you’re not willing to take a first step, there will never be a moment of achievement.

Mark 12:30 New Living Translation
30 And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’
