Pastor Joshua preaches on Thinking Holy in the area of finances.

1 Peter 1:16 New Living Translation
16 …“You must be holy because I am holy.”

Roughly 2,350 verses talk about money
Jesus talked about money about 15% of the time
.

Matthew 6:21 New Living Translation
Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.

Principle: Most people are thinking about money, just in different ways.

1 Timothy 6:10 New Living Translation
10 For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.

Matthew 22:37-38 New Living Translation
37 …”You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. 38 This is the first and greatest commandment.

Principle: If I LOVE the Lord with ALL, that relegates money to be used as a tool.

Principle: When we Think Holy money is our servant and not the other way around.

Genesis 12:2 New Living Translation
I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others.

Principle: God wants to bless you, but can He trust you?

Matthew 25:14-15 New International Version
14 “Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. 15 To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey.

Principle: God will not bless you beyond your current ability to manage the blessing.

Principle: God doesn’t mind blessing you, if you will share the blessing.

Matthew 25:19-22 New International Version
19 “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them. 20 The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.’ 21 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ 22 “The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’

Matthew 25:26-30 New International Version
26 “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! …27 …you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest. 28 “‘So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags. 29 For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them. 30 And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

Principle: Live by faith by changing the way you think.

Principle: Once we do what God has called us to do with our finances, we will find there is always MORE left over.

Principle: God is the God of Abundance and He wants to bless you if you’ll learn to trust Him in EVERYTHING…even finances.

Matthew 19:16-22 New Living Translation
16 Someone came to Jesus with this question: “Teacher, what good deed must I do to have eternal life?”
17 “Why ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. But to answer your question—if you want to receive eternal life, keep the commandments.” 18 “Which ones?” the man asked.
And Jesus replied: “‘You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. 19 Honor your father and mother. Love your neighbor as yourself.’” 20 “I’ve obeyed all these commandments,” the young man replied. “What else must I do?” 21 Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” 22 But when the young man heard this, he went away sad, for he
had many possessions.

Principle: The more you are willing to give, the more you can be trusted to receive.

Matthew 19:23-26 New Living Translation
23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “I tell you the truth, it is very hard for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. 24 I’ll say it again—it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle
than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!” 25 The disciples were astounded. “Then who in the world can be saved?” they asked. 26 Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is
impossible. But with God everything is possible.”

Matthew 19:27-28 New Living Translation
27 Then Peter said to him, “We’ve given up everything to follow you. What will we get?” 28 Jesus replied, “I assure you that when the world is made new and the Son of Man sits upon his glorious throne, you who have been my followers will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And everyone who has given up houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or property, for my sake, will receive a hundred times as much in return and will inherit eternal life.

Principle: Everyone that gives up things and or relationships for the sake of the Kingdom, will receive 100 times as much in return.
