Covenant: Stepping Into Deeper Purpose part 2
Spiritual Contract:
2 Chronicles 7:14 New King James Version
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Principle: It’s up to us to do our part.
Heavy Lifting:
Principle: God always does more than we do in every Covenant.
Romans 10:13 New Living Translation
…“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Principle: He does the big part. We do the small part.
Not Always Easy:
Principle: Just as Jesus has a cross, you have a cross.
Principle: If you wanna go deeper in covenant, you have to obey his commands.
Levels:
Matthew 20:20-28 New Living Translation
20 Then the mother of James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to Jesus with her sons. She knelt respectfully to ask a favor. 21 “What is your request?” he asked.
She replied, “In your Kingdom, please let my two sons sit in places of honor next to you, one on your right and the other on your left.”
22 But Jesus answered by saying to them, “You don’t know what you are asking! Are you able to drink from the bitter cup of suffering I am about to drink?” “Oh yes,” they replied, “we are able!”
23 Jesus told them, “You will indeed drink from my bitter cup. But I have no right to say who will sit on my right or my left. My Father has prepared those places for the ones he has chosen.”
Principle: Some promises do not work at entry level.

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Principle: What would you be willing to surrender to see the miraculous in your life?
