Principle: Our identity is wrapped in a person and His name is Jesus. He has given us a new
identity.
We are identified as:
- Conqueror (Romans 8:37)
- Righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21)
- Love (2 Timothy 1:7)
- Power (2 Timothy 1:7)
- Child of God (John 1:11-13)
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people;
that ye should shew form the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his
marvelous light. (KJV)
Principle: God has hand selected you, specifically enlisted you into His Kingdom for His
purpose to bring Him glory.
Jeremiah 1:5 says, “”Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you
were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” (NLT)
Principle: God made you with intention. He chose YOU on purpose.
Worthy: Having or showing the qualities or abilities that merit recognition in a specified way.
Romans 3:24 says, “Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through
Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins.” (NLT)
Colossians 1:22 says, “Yet now he has reconciled you to himself through the death of Christ in
his physical body. As a result, he has brought you into his own presence, and you are holy and
blameless as you stand before him without a single fault.” (NLT)
Luke 10:19, Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy…” (NLT)
Peculiar: Distinctive; different from the normal, unusual.
Principle: God didn’t create you to fit in. He created you to stand out.
Principle: God was intentional and purposeful when He made you. You have to be intentional
and purposeful about being who God created you to be.
Principle: Do not get in agreement with negative thoughts about yourself.
Principle: You cannot be deceived by the devil and given a false identity, a fake ID, when you
know who you are.
