Pastor Joshua talks about facing fears on the way to your blessing.

Joseph’s Journey to Defeating Fear

Defeating Fear part 3

Principle: God wants to bless you, but there’s a journey to get there.

Genesis 37:19-20 New International Version

19 “Here comes that dreamer!” they said to each other. 20 “Come now, let’s kill him and throw him into one of these cisterns and say that a ferocious animal devoured him. Then we’ll see what comes of his dreams.”

Principle: When we don’t trust, it can be an indicator that fear is present.

Out of Control:

Genesis 37:28 New International Version

So when the Midianite merchants came by, his brothers pulled Joseph up out of the cistern and sold him for twenty shekels of silver to the Ishmaelites, who took him to Egypt.

Principle: When I understand surrender, I don’t fear losing control.

Genesis 39:19-20 New International Version

19 When his master heard the story his wife told him, saying, “This is how your slave treated me,” he burned with anger. 20 Joseph’s master took him and put him in prison, the place where the king’s prisoners were confined.

Matthew 6:34 New International Version

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

John 8:36 New International Version

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Principle: Faith will banish fear even on in your darkest hour.

Principle: When spiritual truth guides your life, we will be full of faith, not fear.
