2 “I know all the things you do. I have seen your hard work and your patient endurance. I know you don’t tolerate evil people. You have examined the claims of those who say they are apostles but are not. You have discovered they are liars. 3 You have patiently suffered for me without quitting.
4 “But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first!
Mark 12:30-31 New King James Version (NKJV)
30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
Heart = καρδία kardía, kar-dee’-ah
Principle: Make God the center of your emotions.
Soul = psychḗ, psoo-khay
Principle: Love Him with the eternal part of yourself
Mind = διάνοια diánoia, dee-an’-oy-ah
Principle: God wants to engage us on an intellectual level.
Strength = ἰσχύς ischýs, is-khoos’
Principle: Love God with your ability

Principle: I’m better when I love Him better
Exodus 34:14 New Living Translation (NLT)
