Psalm 100:4 New International Version

Enter his gates with thanksgiving
    and his courts with praise;
    give thanks to him and praise his name.

Psalm 24:7-8 New Living Translation

7 Open up, ancient gates!
    Open up, ancient doors,
    and let the King of glory enter.

8 Who is the King of glory?
    The Lord, strong and mighty;
    the Lord, invincible in battle.

Manifest Presence:

Principle: When I express gratitude, it draws God closer to me and me closer to God.

Mighty To Do Miracles:

Principle: When I open the Gates of Gratitude, He comes in with miracles.

Strong In Battle:

Principle: I want that side of God to be active in my life, that wins the day. 

Participation:

Principle: When I’m thankful, I open up myself to a whole new level of God’s participation in my life. 

Isaiah 59:1 New International Version

Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save,
    nor his ear too dull to hear.

Principle: Some of us have invited Him in with our words, but have locked Him out with our actions. 

Principle: Opening the gate of gratitude is having a lifestyle of gratitude.

Practical Steps:

4 Steps to Opening The Gate of Gratitude:

  1. Start each day with Gratitude. 
  2. Start every conversation with Gratitude. 
  3. In Trauma show Gratitude

James 1:2-4 New International Version

2 Consider it pure joy, (be thankful) my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

4. End each day with Gratitude
