Pastor Joshua talks about becoming God’s conversation piece.

SERMON NOTES:

Job 1:1-3 New Living Translation (NLT)
1 There once was a man named Job who lived in the land of Uz. He was blameless—a man of complete integrity. He feared God and stayed away from evil. 2 He had seven sons and three daughters. 3 He owned 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 teams of oxen, and 500 female donkeys. He also had many servants. He was, in fact, the richest person in that entire area.

Job was the Richest in the Area:

Principle: God want to make you the centerpiece of what He’s doing.

Principle: As we seek Him, He begins to add to us.

Matthew 6:33 New International Version (NIV)
33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Job was Generous:

Job 4:3-4 New Living Translation (NLT)
3 “In the past you have encouraged many people;
    you have strengthened those who were weak.
4 Your words have supported those who were falling;
    you encouraged those with shaky knees.

Principle: Generosity is the pathway to prospering.

Proverbs 11:24-25 New Living Translation (NLT)
24 Give freely and become more wealthy;
    be stingy and lose everything.
25 The generous will prosper;
    those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.

Galatians 6:7 New King James Version (NKJV)
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

Principle: Be Generous. God needs to bless you.

Principle: Sow the type of seeds your future requires.

Job went through Trials:

Principle: God’s blessings do not insulate you from trials.

Double for Your Trouble:

God is about to give you DOUBLE for your TROUBLE

Principle: Make the journey quicker by cutting out the doubt.

Principle: Don’t delay yourself with doubt, take the fast track of faith.
