Enter his gates with thanksgiving;
go into his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him and praise his name.

The Oxford dictionary define Thanksgiving as:
‘The expression of gratitude, Especially to God”.

The Greek word for thanksgiving is “eucharistia,” which translates to “the giving of thanks for God’s grace,” gratitude, and giving of thanks.

Principle: Thanksgiving is God’s idea

Culture is always changing.

Unlike God who’s the same yesterday, tomorrow, and forever more (Hebrews 13:8)

Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Principle: Kingdom Culture takes precedence over all other culture.

Psalms 50:23
But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me.
If you keep to my path,
I will reveal to you the salvation of God.”

Principle: Thanksgiving Honors God and keeps you on the right path.

When thanksgiving becomes an integral part of your life, you will find that your attitude toward life will change.

1 Thessalonians 5:18
Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

Thanksgiving shuts the mouth of the enemy

Habakkuk 3:19
The Sovereign Lord is my strength!
He makes me as surefooted as a deer,
able to tread upon the heights.

Psalms 18:33-34
33.He makes me as surefooted as a deer,
enabling me to stand on mountain heights.
