e. You filter a prophetic word with love and the Word of God
II. God’s desire is that we all prophesy and this is done in a prophetic community
Acts 2:17- 18 In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your
sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions,
and your old men will dream dreams. In those days I will pour out my Spirit
even on my servants—men and women alike—and they will prophesy.

Eddy: First order of protocol, if as we discussed earlier God wants all of us to prophesy,
does this mean that we are all prophets?
Sandy: How should we give a person a word from God? Do we need to say “thus say the
Lord” or “God told me to tell you”?
Eddy: How does the prophetic community help us to stay accountable when giving a
prophetic word?
Sandy: As a leader in the prophetic community here at Hope United, when people are
“practicing” the prophetic how do you gauge if the words being given are words from the
heart of God and how do you correct something that may not be from God without
