Worship Will Bring You Out – Let My People Worship part 2
Worship is a Liberator:
Exodus 8:1 New Living Translation – Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go back to Pharaoh and announce to him, ‘This is what the Lord says: Let my people go, so they can worship me.
Principle: Worship will get you out of bondage
John 8:36 New Living Translation – So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.
Worship Puts God First:
Exodus 9:13 New Living Translation – Then the Lord said to Moses, “Get up early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh. Tell him, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of the Hebrews, says: Let my people go, so they can worship me.
Principle: The more we worship the more there is a shift in priorities
Worship Is Repetitious:
Exodus 9:1 New Living Translation – “Go back to Pharaoh,” the Lord commanded Moses. “Tell him, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of the Hebrews, says: Let my people go, so they can worship me.
Principle: Through repetition there is transformation spiritually.
Principle: Something in praise changes your posture.
Worship Creates A Submissive Heart:
Exodus 10:3 New Living Translation – So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said, “This is what the Lord, the God of the Hebrews, says: How long will you refuse to submit to me? Let my people go, so they can worship me.
Principle: Worship creates a submissive heart in us.
Principle: Worship creates an atmosphere of surrender.
Without Worship Our Lives Lie In Ruin:
Exodus 10:7 New Living Translation – Pharaoh’s officials now came to Pharaoh and appealed to him. “How long will you let this man hold us hostage? Let the men go to worship the Lord their God! Don’t you realize that Egypt lies in ruins?”
Matthew 16:26 New Living Translation – And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?..
Principle: There’s something about worship that keeps our lives functional.
