4 Steps to Creating a Prophetic Environment:

1. Make Time

Principle: You need to set time aside to say God speak.

Matthew 7:7-12 – New Living Translation

7 “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.

1 Corinthians 14:1 – New Living Translation

14 Let love be your highest goal! But you should also desire the special abilities the Spirit gives—especially the ability to prophesy.

2. Priorize God’s Voice:

Principle: If you want him to speak more then stop and write it down.

3. Set an Atmosphere:

Principle: A combination of the word, prayer, worship will always set an atmosphere.

4. Practice with Others:

Principle: Get together with others that are practicing hearing God and it will cause you to grow.

Conclusion:

Isaiah 32:1-4 New Living Translation (NLT)

1 Look, a righteous king is coming!

And honest princes will rule under him.

2 Each one will be like a shelter from the wind

and a refuge from the storm,

like streams of water in the desert

and the shadow of a great rock in a parched land.

3 Then everyone who has eyes will be able to see the truth,

and everyone who has ears will be able to hear it.

4 Even the hotheads will be full of sense and understanding.     Those who stammer will speak out plainly.
