Principle: His Love is a POWERFUL demonstration
Principle: Love is not a request, it is a commandment.
John 15:12 New Living Translation
This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.
Principle: Love others the way Jesus loved you.
First Loved Me:
Romans 5:8 New Living Translation
But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.
Principle: While we were still sinners, He died for us.
Principle: If Jesus loved us when we were a mess, can we love others when they are still a mess?
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 New International Version
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
