Pastor Joshua begins a powerful new series on the relationship between the believer and God and how we can have a healthy, prosperous relationship with Him.
Principle: Our whole faith experience is meant to be relational, not religious.
Galatians 3:7 New International Version
7 Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham.
Principle: Before giving or tithing was a religious rule, it was a relational response.
Principle: God wants us to get to the place where we have more than enough.
Galatians 3:29 New Living Translation
29 And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.
Genesis 12:2-3 New Living Translation
2 I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. 3 I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.”
Principle: We are the spiritual continuation of what God began with Abraham.
Principle: God wants us to be blessed to be a blessing.
Principle: There are two sides to the blessing.
Principle: There is always a cycle in the spirit…giving then receiving.
Principle: Healthy relationships are reciprocal in nature.
Principle: You can’t expect to just receive all the time and never give.
Principle: Our relationship starts with God by receiving.
Principle: If we want to grow deeper in Him, we must learn to reciprocate.
Principle: We must reciprocate to create a healthy, relational cycle with God.
Matthew 6:9 New Living Translation
9 Pray like this:
Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.
Matthew 7:11 New Living Translation
11 So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.
